Life tests us in ways we never imagined. For us—Daniel, Aracely, and Cristina—2020 was a whirlwind of emotions. In a single year, our family was marked by loss, grief, and the deepest sorrow. Before the pandemic began, Daniel and I, just a few months after the birth of our first daughter, had to say goodbye to my mother and my mother-in-law. Both passed away within a month of each other. My mother had been diagnosed with cancer two months earlier, while my mother-in-law had been battling the disease for five years. They were both relentless warriors who deeply loved caring for their homes.

At the same time, my sister Cristina had to endure a double loss—the passing of our mother and the end of her marriage. Those were incredibly difficult times, filled with unanswered questions, where each day became a silent battle against pain, sadness, and anxiety.

However, despite the challenges we faced and the chaos that unfolded in the months that followed due to COVID, something invaluable sustained us: our faith and the hope that, even when life hits hard, there is always a path to healing. We discovered that while pain may break us, it can also transform us. We learned that true healing is not about forgetting but about remembering with love and gratitude—honoring those we’ve lost by turning suffering into a greater purpose.

That’s why, in 2024, we decided to channel all that learning and resilience into creating Sanara, a cleaning company with a clear purpose: to bring well-being and restoration to every home we touch.
